Yarick-Morgan Recommendation

Thank you for serving as a recommender for a student applying for the Yarick-Morgan Prize for Excellence!

The Yarick-Morgan Prize for Excellence recognizes graduates of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences who have completed the University Honors Program and will pursue a graduate degree at the University of Kansas. The one-time, non-renewable scholarship of $10,000 will be awarded to one student from the current graduating class (including December, May, and July graduates) to support their graduate studies at KU in the coming year.

Eligibility

  • Completion of the University Honors Program
  • Undergraduate Major in the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences
  • Enrollment in a graduate degree program at any University of Kansas campus

Instructions: In your letter, please address the student's academic excellence and preparation for graduate study. This letter may be very similar to a letter submitted on the student's behalf for their graduate degree program.
