Research and teaching, as practiced at the University of Kansas, are mutually reinforcing with scholarly inquiry underlying and informing the educational experience at undergraduate, professional, and graduate levels.
The Honors Program strongly encourages its students from all disciplines to include research and other scholarly activity in their undergraduate experience - whether in the physical sciences, social sciences, humanities, arts, business, journalism, engineering or architecture.
The Honors Program makes a special effort to identify research opportunities for students and assist them in making contacts with faculty research projects. Opportunities are also found in the weekly emails and our website.
There are many opportunities for students at KU to become involved in research. For more information, please visit the Center for Undergraduate Research.
