Nunemaker Center

Nunemaker Center serves as the home of the University Honors program and its students. Located on top of Daisy Hill across from Templin Hall--the official Honors student residence hall--Nunemaker Center is a home away from home for Honors students.

The Center's amenities for students include

  • newly renovated classrooms
  • study and group work space
  • student organization meeting spaces
  • wireless Internet
  • a furnished kitchen available for student use
  • periodicals
  • extended hours during finals week

Built in 1970 through the generosity of Irene Nunemaker, this uniquely styled building reflects the creative energy of Honors Program faculty, staff, and students. Ms. Nunemaker intended that students meet here for classes, discussions, meetings with visiting professors, and to read the newspapers and magazines to stay on top of recent national and world events.

With two brand new classrooms, the conference room, and the Brosseau Commons meeting space, the University Honors program is able to host Honors courses as well as social and educational events for Honors students. The building also features a rotating collection of student and professional artwork.
