Radhia Abdirahman (she/her/hers) is a sophmore from Vancouver, BC double majoring in Biochemistry and Global International Studies and minoring in Somali on the Pre-Med track. She is the vice president of the Muslim Student Association and is an active member of the Pre-Med fraternity, Phi Delta Epsilon, and the Minority Association for Pre-Med Students. She is also a TRiO scholar, FLAS Fellowship recipient, “Rising Leader” award winner, Student Senate Freshman Intern and will be a part of the Summer Health Professions Experience Program cohort for the year of 2019. She also works for the Office of Admissions as a KU Student Ambassador and as a barista off campus. In her free time, she enjoys exploring cafés in Lawrence and spending time with her family.
